Sunset Dinner on the Dock! Our First Date (this trip)!

When you Travel Like an Architect™ – you Make Cruise Plans! An important part of enjoyable travel is Good Planning!  Architects excel at this because they are one of the few professions still taught to THINK!  We think, we consider the outcome, then we think some more….  As Travel Advisors, and Architects our job is actually to think for YOU!  Weather you are planning a building or a vacation – you don’t want to forget to think about something you may want or need!  When you Plan Like an Architect - you have everything you need.

We made it to the Port of LA one day early as planned, and Life is Good!  We make Cruise plans way in advance so we have plenty of time to think about each individual aspect of the trip. Booking early offers you the best promos, and choices. We shop airfare – hotels – transportation etc.. We always fly a day early in case of a delay. Our agency Planning To Cruise can also provide travel insurance options to fit your need.

At this point in our trip we have parked our car and overnighted in Chicago, pre-flight. Shuttled from the hotel to the airport. Flown from Chicago to Los Angeles with Virgin America – and are headed to our pre-cruise hotel at San Pedro.

After meeting Rob’s sister Julia and his Mother Barb at the airport – we claimed our bags and headed for the Shuttle. I pre-booked a shuttle even scheduling the time and place that it was to meet us. The Shuttle Company gave us a pleasant ride to the Crown Plaza Hotel at San Pedro. The driver handles our bags – remember I don’t pack light!!  We get door to door service! The hotel is only blocks from the port. I feel like a Rock Star! Time to party in San Pedro! We are hitting the Waterfront Acapulco Mexican Restaurant San Pedro for Margaritas and dinner for our First Date (this trip)! Life is GOOD!

Port of Los Angeles World Cruise Center at San Pedro, serves as the West Coast's largest cruise port with hundreds of thousands of passengers using the facility. It can accommodate the biggest cruise ships.
